钨矿

钨矿石含钨量低，必须经过选矿富集成精矿才能作为冶炼的原料。按矿石类型钨选矿分为黑钨矿选矿和白钨矿选矿两大类型。我国现阶段开采的以石英脉型黑钨矿为主，占采出矿石量的90%以上。因此，在原统配钨矿山中的43座钨选厂中，黑钨选厂有37座。

从中国有色系统的一些钼选厂来看，处理的原矿品位相差很大，高的在0.3%以上，低的在0.1%以下，有的只有0.02%。选矿实际回收率绝大多数在80%以上。所得精矿品位在45%～54%，尾矿品位多在0.02%左右，高的在0.04%，低的在0.01%。

Any oxidation, contamination, and severe excessive fusion, bubbling, delamination, or crack is not allowed for product W1. Camber should be no more than 10mm. Any excessive fusion, bubble, delamination, crack, surface bulky crystallization or severe oxidation &contamination are not allowed for products W2 and W3. The length of the spalls should not be more than 8mm, width no more than 3mm, depth no more than 1mm; The diameter of mechanical pitting should not be more than 1mm, depth no more than 0.5mm; Camber should be no more than 4mm.
Any oxidation or contamination is not allowed for product w4.
The cartridge of the vertical sintering part should be cut off, and the section is not allowed to be loose or intermingled.

Tungsten heavy alloy is a suitable raw material for radiation protection, as its combination of radiographic density (more than 60% denser than lead), good mechanical strength, and low thermal expansion, good corrosion resistance, high radiation absorption (superior to lead), simplified life cycle and high strength. It can provide the same degree of protection as lead whilst significantly reducing the overall volume and thickness of shields and containers. Besides, compared with lead or depleted uranium in the past, tungsten heavy alloy is more acceptable in this case, for they are Pb-free and non-toxic.

Balance weight has been used to deaden vibration in applications such as the pilot's stick and in riveting tooling. The same principle is used to increase passenger comfort by reducing vibration within the body of the aircraft,  this is particularly valuable in turboprops and helicopters.

molybdenum rod & tungsten rod

Molybdenum rods are manufactured as random length pieces or cut to customers' desired lengths.  In addition, there are three different surface processes or finishes which are provided, depending on the desired end use of the molybdenum rods.
CTOMS produces pure and lanthanated doped molybdenum rods. The lanthanated doped molybdenum rods are targeted for use in higher temperature applications where ductility is retained after recrystallization for material with smaller cross sections.

Tungsten's unique properties as a high performance material, including a melting point of 3410° C, low vapor pressure at elevated temperatures and low coefficient of thermal expansion, make tungsten rod of value in a variety of high temperature products and processes. Among them are glass-to-metal seal parts and support parts for lighting and electronics, silicon rectifier stud mounts and high temperature furnace components.

We produce pure and potassium doped (WK Type) tungsten rod. The potassium doped products are targeted for use where high temperature non-sag properties are required in smaller cross sections by the lighting and electronic industries.

Cerium-Tungsten is a non-radioactive material. Tungsten needle

Tungsten needle is a method and apparatus for performing electrosurgery with an ultra-sharp electrode composed of a refractory alloy, said electrode having a blunt end and a tip end, and a method for forming the ultra-sharp electrode by rotating about its axis a vertically held cylindrical rod composed of a refractory alloy and repeatedly withdrawing and replacing the rod into a pool of molten oxidizing agent.

Special Applications -For particular applications, properties or requirements may be important. These alloys may contain elements which make them magnetic. Where freedom from magnetic response is required, this should be specified in the purchase order. Class 4 is not available in a non-magnetic grade. For purposes of this specification, non-magnetic characteristics are defined as material having a maximum magnetic permeability of 1.05. Also for special applications involving large sections, methods for determining internal quality, such as mechanical tests on specimens from these larger sections or suitable nondestructive tests may be applied. If required, these additional tests shall be specified in the purchase order.
